Hola!
Saludas a Costa Rica!

I am sending this message to you all as a copy, because this keyboard and screen are very slow, so typing is frustrating! There are internet cafes here, and I may find that more satisfying. All has not gone as smoothly as I would have liked, but it is beautiful here, and I am settling in.

First, my plane was so late getting out of Newark that San Jose airport was closed, so we flew to Panama for the night, getting to our hotel about 1:30 am.
My room was very nice, but I couldnīt figure out how to turn on more than the light in the hall way, so it was a bit dark! Breakfast was at 6, off the the airport at 8, got here about 11.
I am staying with la familia Rodriguez-Campos. Victor Hugo and Elia are my age, he is retired, she runs a small gift shop from the house. Their daughter, Senia, and grandson, Jose Pablo, live there - other grown children live near by. The house is about 1km from the school, an easy walk.
Yesterday I took a tour of Heredia with other students and tomorrow I plan to take the tour of La Paz waterfall gardens (but I DO NOT plan to rapel down the falls!) I will see butterflies and hummingbirds, I hope. Friday I will take this weekendīs trip to Manuel Antonio National Park on the Pacific coast and see more wild life and the beach!

I neglected to bring software for my camera, so Roberto is trying to download what we need and then Iīll be able to send photos. I have taken only a few, because I wanted to make sure of the connection first. Letīs hope that tomorrow I can send them.
Now I need to get home and study.
That is frustrating, too! So much input in my fuzzy brain! I trust that that, too, will start to work soon, and it will all make sense!

If you want to email me at the address this comes from, the message will be printed out and given to me.
And, if you want to call me, the number is (506) 265-5280, and I think the international code for Costa Rica is 011, but you can find that in the phone book.
I am at school from 7:30 until 5 or so, but you can call in the evenings (I do plan to take the weekend tours, and some daily tours run until 6ish) but not late, bed time is by 9 (and check out the time zone. I thought it was the same, but I think we are one hour behind you.

Hasta luego!
Blessings and love to you all,

Noel.
ps, when I hit "send" I was told that there was no match for stgeorge12@juno.com ----so Iīll delete that, and hope itīs the only one!

Webmaster’s comment: Clickng on the Costa Rican Flag will take you to a positive view of this Nation
where as clicking on the beach above will take you to the International Fellowship of Intercessors
page for this land, so that you will know how to pray for this nation.
