Hola!
Saludas a Costa Rica!

The second batch of photos from monteverde have just gone out - eight more.
I won´t get to the internet cafe until tomorrow to see how things look (it is Wednesday and the cafe was not working this am - problems in San Jose) At lunch today there was a ¨headline¨about water problems in San Joaquin, and they showed a pipe and much suds, but we never saw the rest of the story! I will fill up my water bottle from the cooler before I go home so I can at least brush my teeth if there´s a problem. I don´t need intestinal bugs today!
This Friday I am going to Puerto Viejo, which is over on the Caribbean side and to the north, coming home Sunday evening. I will try not to get sunburned at the beach this time. I hope the hotel is as nice as the one in Monteverde (without the scorpion!) and am looking forward to having the different food cooked over there. They use much coconut milk and oil, I understand. And, God willing, it won´t be as dusty as Monteverde.
It is hot and humid on the Caribbean side, and that will be a change as it is very dry here. I am full of my regular lunch of rice and beans with fried plantain (platanos) and today I had the joy of avocado with my lunch (I always thought avocado was español, but here they are aguacates) So I will walk off part of it on my way home to study and work on my sermon for March 2.

Blessings, see you in LESS than a couple of weeks! Adios,

Noel

PS
If you want to email me at thisaddress, the message will be printed out and given to me.
And, if you want to call me, the number is (506) 265-5280,
and I think the international code for Costa Rica is 011, but you can find that in the phone book.
I am at school from 7:30 until 5 or so, but you can call in the evenings
(I do plan to take the weekend tours, and some daily tours run until 6ish) but not late,
bed time is by 9 (and check out the time zone. think we might be one hour behind you.

Webmaster’s comment: Clickng on the Costa Rican Flag will take you to a positive view of this Nation
where as clicking on the beach above will take you to the International Fellowship of Intercessors
page for this land, so that you will know how to pray for this nation.
